S-Pen - Galaxy Note: How To Put Pop-Up Note Reminder On Lockscreen.

One cool thing Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has other than an eye pleasing 5.5" screen is the ability to write on a reminder note on the cellphones lockscreen (the first screen that lights up and is displayed before you unlock your smartphone...in this case...phablet (phone + tablet= phablet).

How to:
Go to SETTINGS
LOCK SCREEN
POP-UP NOTE ON LOCK SCREEN
CHECK IT.

Go to Lockscreen
Take out S-Pen
Depress Pen's Button
Tap Screen Twice
Yellow Note Appears

Write a reminder to yourself for that day with the pen, in your own handwriting!
 a list...pick up bread, get gas, sale at Sear's, Kohl's...dentist or doctor's appointment...pay your cellphone bill...get mulch for yard...get birthday, anniversary, get well card...

What's neato is this Note will stay and be viewable on the phone. You will see it immediately when you push phone's On Button.
Use this along with your written list.
Just one of the fun things that the Galaxy note 2 is capable of.
The pen is very handy and you will use it alot, just like the reminder pop-up note.

Tapping the keys with it is much more precise. Phone is perfect size. Go ahead,take your phone to Sprint...still unlimited data, or your current carrier and compare current phone to Galaxy Note 2. Use Galaxy Note 2 for 5 minutes, then use current phone for five minutes. You will understand how cool this thing is! Plus it has multi-window... watch music video, check email, text at same time...along with other apps that work in multi windows on phone. S pen also can put a reminder note to yourself on lockscreen in your handwriting. A quick reminder to yourself for that days to do list. Rumors are a new Galaxy Note 3 will be arriving with around a 5.9 inch screen, octacore processor, 3 gigs ram...who knows. Round about last few months of 2013. Picked my note 2 up for $199 at Sprint a few weeks ago. Couldn't be happiier with price,phone,features and customer service. Plus monthly charge is around $75. Great deal and very happy with Sprints 3g service. 4g is arriving round these parts very shortly...in fact picking up inklings of it when travelling coupla miles down road. Just a matter of time. For a great phone checkout Samsung Galaxy Note 2.Your eyes will thank you. Especially if you are older. Oh this phone has built in wi-fi, also. Oh No! Google Reader Closing Down. Flipboard Accepting Google Reader Rss Newsfeeds. Whew!

With the upcoming closing of Google Reader, I was looking for a website to transfer my accumulated newsfeeds to. Flipboard www.flipboard.com is a great solution. There,one creates their own "magazine". It can contain newsfeeds, business,sports, health, tech,...the whole gamut.There are also preset subjects picked by the Flipboard staff one can use to create their personal mag.The pages actually flip up on your smartphone or tablet device. Neato! Using my new Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which had the Flipboard app pre-installed, it was a breeze to seamlessly transfer my Google Reader rss newsfeeds. One or two clicks. Voila.(Wi-Fi would be best and fast solution to transfer if you have alot of feeds.Especially with phone data caps and extra charges. Sprint phone company has an unlimited data plan that is very cost effective for those of us on a budget. It works wonderfully on my Galaxy Note 2)! Flipboard also has a search field one can type into for more magazine topics. Feeds from Facebook, Flickr, twitter and other websites can be accessed, also. Later. Great info here
